Job Summary:
Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors. Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Responsibilities
Management
• Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors.
Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as expected.
• Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development.
• Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance.
Project / Infrastructure Site Management
• Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the datacenters. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan.
• Provides input and guidance towards budget.
• Overall site capacity supervision.
Vendor Management
• Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.

• Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems
Incident Management
• Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
Typical Degree & Years of Experience
Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+). Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
