Senior Aviation Specialist
Job Summary
The Senior Account Executive / Senior Aviation Specialist serves as the primary client-facing expert, responsible for delivering strategic insurance solutions and exceptional service to aviation industry clients. This role combines deep market knowledge, analytical expertise, and relationship-building skills to support both existing accounts and new business development.
General Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, providing expert guidance, conducting research and analysis, and addressing a wide range of inquiries related to aviation insurance.
- Prepare policy endorsements in response to client requests. Regularly provide clients with updates on industry trends, market conditions, and relevant resources. Delegate routine inquiries to support staff as appropriate.
- Analyze client data and insurance program details for renewals and new business. Conduct market comparisons, obtain competitive quotes, and develop strategic recommendations on coverage, exclusions, and pricing. Collaborate directly with senior-level client stakeholders.
- Partner with producers to support marketing efforts and new business acquisition. Assist in preparing presentations and proposals, and participate in meetings with prospective clients as part of a collaborative team.
- Negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing with underwriters to secure optimal insurance programs for clients. Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure favorable outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and service providers. Stay informed on evolving market conditions, emerging risks, and innovations within the aviation insurance sector.
- Oversee administrative tasks by delegating to appropriate team members. Ensure timely and accurate completion of support functions while maintaining high service standards.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of aviation insurance markets, coverage types, and industry trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance, with a strong focus on aviation accounts
- Strong skillset in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.

COMPENSATION:
The national average salary for this role is $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
