LOCATION: Indiana-Hybrid (1 day a week in the office may be required)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- The Client Manager-Employee Benefits works closely with the team and the business manager to provide marketing support and to meet the day-to-day service needs of each client
- Manages the process for new and renewal business on an assigned book of clients
- Responsible for gathering the information for the marketing process of new and renewal business including gathering and submitting information to our carrier partners
- You will prepare or revise client presentations for medical and ancillary quote comparisons
- Onboard/implement new clients or plans via virtual meetings, phone conferences or email
- Maintain ownership of continuous updates/changes, additions, and deletions to ensure proper insurance coverage
- Provides day-to-day service of clients, including resolving issues via virtual meetings, phone or email, responds to inquiries regarding coverage and other inquiries of internal and external customers
- Complies with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards
- Serves as a resource to others in the department or organization for assistance with processes, procedures and knowledge of insurance
- Follow the direction of Management and comply with all company policies
- Other duties as assigned and requested by management
- Able to work an adjusted work schedule as needed to support clients
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Experience with all lines of employee benefits including health, dental, and vision, etc.
- Previous call center and/or customer service experience in an insurance or medical environment required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs
- Familiar with health insurance policies, ERISA laws and industry terminology

- Must be able to explain group insurance coverage options and suggest appropriate options
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve client issues; able to communicate and execute resolutions
- Must be able to interpret guidelines and utilize resources available to analyze and resolve benefit coverage issues and conflicts
- Confidentiality of all customer account information within HIPAA guidelines
- Goal oriented, highly self-motivated and resourceful to achieve results
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Local travel may be required
- Able to work an adjusted work schedule as needed to support clients in the Central Standard time zone and Pacific Standard time zone
- Willingness to obtain Valid Life and Health License in applicable states is required
COMPENSATION:
The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data
