Senior UI5 Developer

The SAP UI5 Developer specializes in developing user-centric applications using SAP's UI5 framework.
This role focuses on enhancing user experiences and streamlining business processes through the development of intuitive, high-performance, and responsive web applications integrated with SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP UI5 applications based on business requirements and UX/UI best practices
• Collaborate closely with the UX/UI design team to transform visual designs into functional user interfaces that provide excellent user experiences
• Work with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of UI5 applications with SAP backend systems using OData services
• Perform rigorous testing and debugging of applications across multiple browsers and platforms to ensure performance and scalability
• Optimize application code for efficiency and maintainability while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Participate in project planning sessions, providing estimates and technical insights to assist in project timelines and deliverable management
• Provide technical support and maintenance for deployed applications, ensuring timely updates and enhancements in line with user feedback and evolving business needs
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in SAP technologies, specifically SAP UI5 and Fiori, to continuously enhance application functionality and user experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in SAP UI5 and familiarity with SAP Fiori design principles
• Strong experience in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with OData and SAP NetWeaver Gateway services for integrating SAP backend systems
• Good understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture patterns and data binding techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and explain technical concepts
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with additional SAP development tools and languages, such as SAP Web IDE or ABAP
• Prior experience in developing applications using other frameworks or libraries, such as Angular or React
• Experience in mobile app development and responsive web design
• SAP Certification in Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer or similar credentials
