Senior Test Automation Engineer in JavaScript/TypeScript

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about test automation in JavaScript/TypeScript. You will work closely with development and QA teams and be responsible for designing, testing and implementing web application automation.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the product life cycle: understand the product requirements, test case creation, smoke, and regression test planning
  • Translate requirements and designs into automated testing strategies
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain automated tests
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results and deliver clear and actionable bug reports
  • Partner cross-functionally across disciplines, from development to design to QA to project management
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in development of test automation for web applications
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Expert knowledge of one or more testing frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, Jest, WebdriverIO
  • Experience debugging systems and white box testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise or other CI/CD systems
  • Knowledge of SauceLabs, Perfecto, Firebase, etc
