Senior Data Engineer

We are excited to invite an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help us tackle challenging engineering problems while developing high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code, ensuring robustness and efficiency
• Propose and implement effective solutions to complex business challenges
• Collaborate closely with team members to achieve shared objectives
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards across the team
• Provide accurate task estimates and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
• Maintain open lines of communication with clients as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering roles
• Proficiency in Scala or Java and Spark
• Competency in SQL for efficient data querying
• Understanding of Scrum methodology to adapt to agile work environments
• Expertise in test automation, including unit, integration, and acceptance tests
• Knowledge of English at an intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DataBricks, AWS, and cloud services
• Background in Python programming
• Competency in database management using PostgreSQL
• Skills in handling NoSQL solutions
• Capability to utilize Maven for project management
