Lead Software Engineer - JavaScript

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript.
Being a part of the China Delivery team in Shenzhen, you will contribute your expertise to bring a positive impact. As a JavaScript professional, you'll fulfill a lead JavaScript Developer role to rationalize practices of Agile Methodology in the development team, partnering with multiple functional roles/teams to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality deliverables and technical documentation
• Participate in technical decision-making, design technical solutions and implement functionality by following software development principles
• Plan code reviews, ensure the quality of the team's code and other deliverables following delivery excellence practices, detect and address software performance issues
• Lead and contribute to software engineering activities, including requirement clarification, estimation and planning, workshops, and solution proposal presentations for customers, etc
• Collaborate on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient Python applications
• Troubleshoot, test, and sustain the core product software to ensure optimized functionality

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and development
• Experienced in implementing high-quality solutions utilizing OOP/FP principles and Agile Development practices
• Advanced knowledge of ReactJS, RESTful APIs , CSS framework
• In-depth experience with TypeScript and front-end development tools
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Fulfilled architect or tech lead roles leading a development team
• In-depth understanding of different phases of software development lifecycle and understanding of Agile Scrum processes
• Upper Intermediate level (CEFR B2+) or higher level of spoken and written English
