Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to work on an insurance application from our office in Cyprus in a hybrid setup.
This role offers an incredible opportunity to develop high-quality business features within our client's Financial Landscape, operating as Spring Boot microservices in a cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop core components of our insurance application, focusing on calculation and pricing storage services
• Maintain existing code and implement enhancements
• Engage in discussions regarding new functionalities and features
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards
• Address and resolve bugs and operational issues in deployed applications
• Showcase expert understanding of the Java application development stack and tools

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Java developer
• Proficiency in microservices architecture using Spring Boot
• Capability to work with version control using Git and build scripts using Gradle (Kotlin)
• Background in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Expertise in managing relational databases including Oracle and MongoDB
• Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication
