Cloud Technology Leader

We are seeking a Cloud Technology Leader to join EPAM Serbia, a role essential for our enterprise-focused on harnessing the potential of cloud computing.
This Director-level position involves shaping cloud strategies, spearheading the development of cloud-native architectures and applications, and cultivating a cloud-centric culture of engineering excellence.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Serbia.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures and applications adhering to requirements like performance, scalability, and security
• Utilize modern cloud application development tactics including serverless computing, microservices, and containers
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for clients
• Create and oversee the execution of cloud migration plans and multi-cloud strategies
• Manage the development and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure
• Lead the application of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to optimize project delivery
• Oversee significant and strategic projects in Serbia ensuring successful execution
• Promote a DevOps culture fostering teamwork, open communication, and ongoing enhancement
• Establish and maintain strong relationships within all organizational levels
• Convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively

Requirements

• Background in technology leadership in an internationally reputed company
• Expertise in enterprise application development using Java, .Net, or Python
• Proficiency in AWS
• Familiarity with IoT technologies
• Experience managing large teams, including distributed teams in a matrix environment
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in simple language and experience in public speaking
• High adaptability with a proactive attitude in high-pressure environments
• Willingness and readiness for frequent business travel, nationally and internationally
