Cloud Support Engineer (Infrastructure - JA)

We are hiring a Cloud Support Engineer to extend our multi-language team based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
EPAM Systems provides 24/7 support services for users of a major cloud platform.
The support team is distributed across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers using Cloud Platform products and solutions including Apigee, GKE and related services
• Manage customer technical support issues by providing resolutions or recommendations related to IAAS products and services as part of a global support organization
• Handle incident management, problem management, and change management; manage change requests and incident tickets for the remaining Infrastructure Teams
• Adhere to notification and escalation procedures and maintain communication standards with businesses involving operational issues
• Work closely with engineers and product managers to improve the service and make our customers successful
• Follow standards for communications with businesses involving operational issues

• At least 3+ years' experience fully as a Systems Engineer or System Administrator
• Experience with developing Kubernetes
• Familiar with web protocols (HTTP, TLS/SSL, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server at the Administrator level
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization and other cloud solutions
• Strong business ownership and customer support experience
• Business-level English skills + native fluency in Japanese

• Demonstrated experience with Cloud technology solutions and/or running and supporting large complex systems at scale
• Experience with GKE, Cloud networking solutions and/or distributed computing technology
