Cloud Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Solution Architect on active projects - collaborating with stakeholders, gathering and clarifying business and technical requirements, and producing clear, effective technical designs
• Act as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams
• Support presales efforts by analyzing requirements, preparing estimates, drafting high-level architectural designs, and presenting proposed solutions to clients
• Design and implement scalable cloud solutions by translating business requirements into high-quality technical architectures
• Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards, promoting security, performance, and reliability

Requirements

• Previous experience in architecture roles - either in projects or presales
• 5-7 years of experience in software development
• Strong engineering background with practical, hands-on coding skills in at least one modern tech stack
• Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong communication skills and confident English (sufficient for a 1.5-hour technical interview)

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized certifications in solution architecture
• Knowledge or experience in IoT and/or Embedded Systems
