Service Center Support Representative - John Wayne Airport

The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Service Center Support Representative. The Service Center Support Representative will provide overall administrative support to the maintenance facility, ensuring all parts and tire purchases, shop work orders and invoice processing adhere to company policy and standards.

The successful candidate works well both independently and on a team, has a strong attention to detail, is well organized, possesses strong communication and follow-up skills, ability to thrive in a fast passed environment, and has a proven record of cost savings.

This position is located at our John Wayne Airport Service Center location at 4361 Birch St. Newport Beach, CA 92660.

This is a Union position. Schedule based on a shift bid. Must have open availability to work one of four shifts between 6:00am-8:00pm - including nights and weekends

Starting pay is $19.50/hour

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Manage physical and virtual inventory through the use of various inventory programs
• Responsible for assisting various aspects of inventory management, including (but not limited to), vehicle parking and staging
• Follow-up on out of service (shop) units.
• Ordering inventory and queued maintenance related purchase order (PO) requests
• Check on delivery statuses and update technicians and management
• Maintain parts inventory and conduct physical parts inventory quarterly and/or perpetually
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly maintenance reports, logs, and manifests as pertaining to hazardous materials
• Vend vehicles to Body Shop and Data entry of all vehicle movements
• Order Glass to vehicles
• Support technicians and service personnel.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Assist in the managing and/or repairing of key and glass units
• Accurately input and document parts purchasing in the computer system
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• This position requires a valid California Drivers License.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have open availability and able to work Full Time-40 hours a week including weekdays, weekends, days, nights, and holidays.
• Must have excellent verbal, computer, data entry and typing skills
• Must be willing to undergo moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
