The Senior Experience Designer plays a key role in bringing clarity to complexity-translating research, ideas, and opportunities into concepts, prototypes, service design blueprints, and visual storytelling that illustrate end-to-end experiences. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to co-create solutions that are easy, enjoyable, and useful for the people who rely on our products every day.
As a senior member of the team, you'll also help elevate our craft by mentoring others, sharing best practices, and fostering a collaborative, feedback-rich environment that reflects our values of respect, integrity, and teamwork.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO with a hybrid schedule available.

Responsibilities
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
- Support the Experience Design Manager in documenting and improving human-centered design processes
- Identify user goals, pain points, and opportunities by participating in interviews, focus groups, shadowing, and observational research
- Communicate future-state concepts through experience maps, user journeys, service blueprints, and other visual design artifacts
- Contribute to planning and executing experiments and prototypes that validate new service and product ideas
- Mentor and coach designers while supporting high-quality design deliverables and prototypes for stakeholder reviews and in-field testing
- Lead ideation and exploration across service, interaction, spatial, product, and brand design
- Provide constructive design feedback and iterate collaboratively based on research insights, business needs, and design principles
- Advocate for usability, accessibility, and design-system standards across all work
- Engage in ongoing professional development through self-assessment, training, and goal setting
- Maintain reliable attendance and perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's Degree in New Media, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Service Design, or related field
- Must have 2+ years of Experience with graphic and/or digital design and knowledge of prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, HTML/CSS or similar
- Must have 4+ years of Experience in service/experience design and the ability to generate solid ideas and a thorough understanding of user-centric design process.
- Experience designing and developing service blueprints, user flows, wireframes and Figma (or similar) prototypes
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Leading collaborative teams through human-centered design processes
- Experience in service design, data synthesis, and contextual inquiry
