Overview

Enterprise Mobility's Global Headquarters is seeking a driven and passionate Data Science Intern to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program. As a Data Science Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience building analytical solutions that improve business processes. You'll learn how data scientists use algorithms for automation, build predictive models, design experiments, attempt causal inference with observational data, and apply mathematical optimization to identify the most profitable business strategies. You'll also collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to support the creation and adoption of analytical products.

Program Highlights:

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Our Data Science Internship is a hands-on, engaging program where you'll gain real-world experience, learn new skills, and have fun while contributing to meaningful projects. You'll receive coaching, mentorship, and plenty of opportunities to network and grow. As part of the Data & Analytics team, you'll help build analytical products.

Schedule:

This 12-week internship will begin on May 18, 2026 and will conclude on August 7, 2026. The internship program is located on-site at our Global Headquarters at 500 Corporate Park Drive, Clayton, MO. You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for the entire 12 weeks, working Monday through Friday. This role pays $20/hour.

Over the course of the 12-week internship experience, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support predictive modeling - Assist in data collection, cleaning, and analysis to support predictive modeling and optimization projects
  • Collaborate - Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute to analytical solutions
  • Forecasting- You'll build your own predictive model, support test out and present your findings to leadership
  • Designing experiments- Assist with designing experiments and analyzing results to inform business decisions

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a student enrolled full time for their upcoming final semester in a Master's degree program in a Statistical or Mathmatical field (e.g. Engineering, Social Science or Statistics) set to graduate between December 2026 - June 2027
  • Must have experience with predictive models, statistical inference, and/or other forms of quantitative analysis
  • Must have proficiency in R or Python
  • Must have experience using libraries like tensorflow or pytorch
  • Must be a resident of greater St. Louis, Missouri for summer 2026 or be attending a St. Louis based university
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week from May 18th - August 7th 2026
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Preferred:

  • Experience designing experiments
  • Experience exploring and visualizing data
  • Experience using SQL
  • Experience working with data (merging, recording, etc.) from a variety of sources/formats
  • Experience working with observational data to attempt causal inference (e.g. matching, weighting, etc.)
