About the role and what you will be doing:
The Financial Analyst will support the FP&A Director, Senior Financial Analyst, and the wider FP&A team, partnering closely with stakeholders across Ensono's Infrastructure business.
The role will support end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting for their assigned area, evaluate business performance and profitability, and provide insight into the financial impact of operational and strategic decisions.
The analyst will monitor key performance indicators, investigate variances, and proactively identify risks and opportunities. They will deliver clear, actionable analysis and insight to support both short‑ and long‑term decision‑making, while also contributing to ad‑hoc requests and broader FP&A initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Support the FP&A leadership in partnering with the business, including preparation for regular performance and planning meetings
- Produce timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to help the business understand performance drivers
- Support in delivering monthly executive reporting, including commentary on results, trends, risks, and recommended action
- Support month‑end close activities by partnering with Accounting to ensure financial results are accurate and well understood, including explanations for variances
- Identify risks and opportunities versus budget and forecast, and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks and maximize upside
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, developing accurate projections that reflect client trends, cost structures, margins, and operational drivers
- Prepare scenario analysis and financial models to support strategic, commercial, and operational decision‑making
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in Adaptive, OfficeConnect, and other FP&A tools; identify and drive opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, standardization, and automation
What You Will Need:
- 4-5 years of experience in Finance, including 2-3 years in a Financial Analyst or FP&A role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (Economics also considered where coursework included strong finance/accounting components)
- Master's degree preferred in Finance, Analytics, Business, or related field; ACCA/CIMA qualification (or in progress) is a plus
- Highly numerate and analytical, with strong attention to detail and a results‑oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and proven ability to work with large, complex datasets
- Demonstrated high standards of accuracy and data integrity
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and systems, with a strong interest in using systems and automation to improve processes and reporting
