What You'll Do

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of sewing machines and related production equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure optimal machine settings, calibration, and performance to meet product quality standards for medical devices.
  • Maintain maintenance documentation, records, and reports in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians.
  • Plan and organize daily work assignments and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Analyze equipment failures and propose corrective actions (root cause analysis, preventive actions).
  • Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning projects.

Technical diploma or professional training in sewing machine mechanics,

Proven experience 10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing industrial sewing machines (lockstitch, overlock, coverstitch, etc.).

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and machine specifications.

Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment

Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.

Understanding of workplace safety standards and maintenance best practices.
