Reports To: VP, Supply Chain & Distribution

Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Supply Chain is responsible for leading global supply chain planning for the Prevention & Recovery (P&R) business. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across forecasting, inventory management, backorder reduction, and working capital optimization, while driving standardized planning processes and improving customer experience.
This position partners closely with senior leadership to establish long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Senior Director leads a geographically distributed team with key locations in Germany, France, Portugal, the United States, and Mexico, and plays a critical role in driving transformation, cultural change, and consistent execution across a global, matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:Partner with senior management to define and execute global supply chain strategies, long-term objectives, and transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Operational Excellence (EGX):
Leverage the Enovis Growth Excellence (EGX) framework to drive growth, profitability, standardization, and sustainable operating practices across the global supply chain. - Financial Performance & Productivity:
Lead supply chain planning, budgeting, and cost management efforts; drive net productivity improvements to support gross margin expansion and working capital efficiency. - Global Supply Chain Planning:
Oversee forecasting, inventory planning, and backorder reduction initiatives to ensure reliable supply, improved service levels, and optimized inventory deployment. - Policies, Processes & Standardization:
Develop and implement standardized global planning processes, policies, and SOPs to improve supply reliability, operational consistency, and customer experience. - Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:
Ensure global supply chain planning processes comply with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulatory and quality requirements. - Team Leadership & Talent Development:
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global supply chain planning organization; drive talent development, succession planning, and career growth across regions. - Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to support end-to-end business objectives. - Decision-Making & Governance:
Make data-driven decisions with significant impact on P&L performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term business sustainability.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, planning, or operations, including leadership roles within global or multi-site organizations.
- Transformation & Change Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives and driving cultural change.
- Matrix Organization Experience: Proven success working within complex, matrixed organizations to achieve P&L and enterprise objectives.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, working capital optimization, and supply planning best practices.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, cost structures, and productivity initiatives tied to gross margin performance.
- Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of FDA, ISO, and other relevant regulatory standards within a global manufacturing or medical device environment.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and global stakeholders.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel internationally up to 50%.
