In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering excellence and clinical innovation, collaborating closely with surgeons, internal development teams, and key stakeholders to deliver patient-specific solutions that make a real difference in the operating room.

What You Will Do

  • Own the technical development of custom cases, from concept to final release, supported by the Product Development team.
  • Translate clinical and functional requirements into robust engineering solutions, ensuring design input consistency and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation needed for product development and regulatory submissions.
  • Engage directly with surgeons and sales teams to review and refine case designs, bringing a critical engineering perspective.

  • Act as a technical mentor for junior engineers, supporting their development and knowledge growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping increase team efficiency and effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in mechanical design (2D/3D CAD), ideally within medical devices, implantable products, or custom-made solutions
  • Exposure to regulated product development environments (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR) is a plus.
  • Experience interacting with clinical stakeholders is highly valued.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
  • Prior experience with and use of Siemens NX will be considered a plus.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and materials selection.
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation and structured development processes.
  • Knowledge of FEA tools is an advantage.

Personal Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Confident communicating with surgeons, sales teams, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Team‑oriented, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a high‑impact, innovation‑driven team focused on personalized medical solutions.
  • Work closely with surgeons and clinical experts, seeing your designs directly used in surgery.
  • Contribute to products that improve patient outcomes through customization.
  • Grow your technical and professional skills in a collaborative international environment.
