• Lead the Import and Export Controls Program in the EMEA and APAC regions and set up continuous improvement related to export controls, customs broker management, management of HTS, Country of Origin ("COO"), and Customs valuation
• Guide and support implementation of the trade systems and internal control applications
• Create formal policies, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions (standard work)
• Communicate as the first point of contact with the relevant government agencies for cross-border transactions, import and export controls in the EMEA region
• Monitor and maintain trade compliance data elements in Enovis systems by collaborating with IT and other departments
• Manage day-to-day compliance issues, provide guidance, support related projects in the EMEA region as well as in APAC questions and train associates on all trade compliance topics
• Define, implement and conduct trade compliance audits, ensuring corrective action processes are addressed according to applicable regulations
• Lead operational process controls through KPIs, regular activity and training with Product Management, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, Sourcing, Finance, Security, Marketing, and Distribution to keep the company compliant with trade regulations in EMEA
• Maintain Export Licensing, Agreements and Authorizations of government approvals in EMEA
• Lead the research and stay abreast of the changes in the monitored countries, restricted parties, restricted end-use and destination export control concerns.

• Leitung des Import- und Exportkontrollprogramms in den Regionen EMEA und APAC sowie Etablierung kontinuierlicher Verbesserungen in den Bereichen Exportkontrollen, Zollbroker-Management, Verwaltung der Zolltarifnummern (HTS), Ursprungsland ("Country of Origin", COO) sowie Zollwert
• Unterstützung und Steuerung der Implementierung von Handelssystemen sowie internen Kontrollanwendungen
• Erstellung formaler Richtlinien, Verfahren, Leitlinien und Arbeitsanweisungen (Standardarbeitsanweisungen)
• Erster Ansprechpartner für die Kommunikation mit den zuständigen Behörden für grenzüberschreitende Transaktionen, Import- und Exportkontrollen
• Überwachung und Pflege handelsrelevanter Compliance-Daten in den Enovis-Systemen in Zusammenarbeit mit IT und anderen Abteilungen
• Verantwortung des täglichen Compliance-Managements, Beratung zu Fragestellungen und Unterstützung entsprechender Projekte in der EMEA-Region sowie bei Bedarf in APAC sowie Schulung der Mitarbeitenden zu allen Themen der Handels- und Zoll-Compliance
• Definition, Implementierung und Leitung von Audits zu Handels-Compliance
• Verantwortung über die Recherche zu Änderungen in überwachten Ländern, listenpflichtigen Parteien, eingeschränkten Endverwendungen sowie exportkontrollrechtlich kritischen Zielländern

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Law, Engineering, Finance, Business or directly related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in import/export transactions, with at least 5 years of direct experience in export controls
• Systems integration and implementation experience as well as project management experience
• Advanced level in PowerPoint presentation and MS Excel, including, but not limited to V-look up, macros, formula, pivot table and visualization; knowledge of Oracle and JDE is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with deadlines as well as ability to make sound and timely business decisions
• Fluent in English (required) and German (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium im Bereich Internationaler Handel, Recht, Ingenieurwesen, Finanzen, Betriebswirtschaft oder in einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet
• Mindestens 10 Jahre Erfahrung im Import- und Exportgeschäft, davon mindestens 5 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung im Bereich Exportkontrollen
• Erfahrung in Systemintegration und -implementierung sowie Projektmanagement-Erfahrung
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in PowerPoint und MS Excel, einschließlich Makros, Formeln, Pivot-Tabellen und Datenvisualisierung; Kenntnisse in Oracle und JDE sind von Vorteil
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten sowie Problemlösungskompetenz
• Fähigkeit, auch unter Zeitdruck und Stress konstruktiv zu arbeiten und fundierte sowie zeitnahe Geschäftsentscheidungen zu treffen
• Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Wort, Schrift und Präsentation
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
