Software Engineer (Hybrid)

About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement technical solutions to solve business problems. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to build scalable, reliable systems, learning from Senior Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Architects along the way. Many challenges have multiple viable solutions, and you will be expected to evaluate trade-offs, recommend the best approach, and drive it through to completion. You will also partner with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver meaningful business value.
Requirements
- Experience designing and implementing technical solutions using Java or ReactJS
- Strong understanding of database concepts (e.g., SQL, tables, indexes, migrations) and experience writing complex queries
- Passion for building systems using service-oriented and event-driven architectures
- Interest in developing both frontend and backend components as part of a full-stack team
- Experience troubleshooting production issues using observability and monitoring tools
- Willingness to participate in a periodic on-call rotation
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

- Experience with additional languages such as Go or Python
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- AWS experience and/or certifications
- Working knowledge of modern web standards

Compensation:
This position includes various levels within our career ladder. The actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the ranges shown.
Budgeted annual salary ranges:
Software Engineer I: $68,000 - $90,000
Software Engineer II: $84,000 - $110,000
Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
