Business Compliance Associate

About the Role:

As a Business Operations Associate within the CashNetUSA business unit, you will play a vital role in supporting one of Enova's core businesses. Your responsibilities will be monitoring and supervision across our diverse product portfolio, planning and executing customer remediations, and addressing unique regulatory and business requirements in various states. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to align business and compliance needs, proactively identify and prevent customer incidents, and contribute to customer remediation efforts.

 Responsibilities:

  • Scope, plan, and execute end to end customer remediations due to system issues with an emphasis on root cause investigation, system fix implementation, redress action planning, and data analysis in a cross functional collaborative setting
  • Take full ownership of the issue management lifecycle; ensure that gaps are not just flagged, but pursued until a permanent fix is implemented and tested
  • Demonstrate a results-driven mentality by independently coming up with opportunities, validating hypotheses with stakeholders, and driving cross-functional solutions into reality
  • Proactively identify production or compliance exceptions, assess their impact on the business and customers, and resolve them or escalate to the management team as necessary.
  • Gain expertise in product offerings, brand, state compliance matrix, transactional logic, and funding/payment processes, and document this knowledge.
  • Utilize your subject matter expertise to create and manage processes and monitoring systems that ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines for products, technology, and processes.
  • Analyze customer complaint data to identify trends, develop recommendations, and support the implementation of process improvements based on these insights.
  • Assist with ad hoc data requests related to external and third-party business audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of project management experience executing initiatives from start to finish, including managing cross-functional stakeholders and authoring detailed business documentation
  • 3+ years resolving audit findings and operational issues by integrating federal and state regulations into corrective action plans, updated policies, and system improvements
  • Familiarity with SQL and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in both team and independent settings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microstrategy, Grafana, and other monitoring dashboards is a plus

Compensation

  • The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $72,000 - $104,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
