Assistant Online Manager

What You Will Achieve

  • Analyze sales, promotions, digital marketing and site performance data and formulate data-driven insights and plans to drive sales
  • Develop e-Commerce marketing and promotion calendar in line with brand marketing and online strategies
  • Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy, e-Commerce brand sites, third party platforms, Retailer.com and Omni Channels for business growth for the company including website and social media
  • Enhance the overall brand dotcom consumer journey, including but not limited to website content, purchasing journey, functionality development, and omni-channel features to grow consumer base, traffic, and conversion rate
  • Serve as the key liaison between the Online Team and Brand Team and ensure that the online experience is in line with the brand's overall strategy
  • Oversee the daily operations of the online business to ensure smooth running of the online platforms
  • Work closely with external and internal stakeholders on marketing, products, creative and system development
  • Manage and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on key sales and online related metrics
  • Conduct market research and campaign result analysis and generate data-driven recommendations to optimize the online performance

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • University degree, preferably in marketing, communication, e-Commerce or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years' working experience in managing online business for a brand or a retailer, or working in an eCommerce player. Media agency background with strong understanding of eCommerce business will also be considered
  • Highly analytical and well-structured in problem solving and presentation
  • Strong business acumen with good understand of how to drive online sales performance utilizing digital marketing and a wide range of data sources
  • Hands-on operational experience managing an eCommerce site would be a strong plus
  • General knowledge of web performance analytics & web development cycle would be a plus
  • Digital media agency experience with experience driving lower-funnel KPIs would be a plus
  • A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and independent
  • Can-do attitude with attention to details
  • Well organized and meticulous with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
