Your Opportunity
EBSCO Information Services is looking for an organized, customer-focused Large Customer Marketing Specialistto support marketing programs and services for some of EBSCO's largest and most strategic customers.
In this role, you will help coordinate customized marketing programs that strengthen customer relationships, support product awareness and engagement, and help EBSCO deliver exceptional experience to key customer accounts. You will work directly with customers and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to understand customer needs and turn them into well-executed marketing activities.

What You'll Do
- Support EBSCO's Premier Partnership program, coordinating proactive marketing plans and activities for participating large and strategic customer accounts.
- Serve as a day-to-day marketing contact for assigned customers, helping understand their priorities, coordinate requests, communicate next steps, and provide a responsive and professional customer experience.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute customized marketing activities that support customer priorities, product awareness, engagement, and adoption.
- Coordinate customer-specific marketing projects, including email campaigns, webinars, events, promotional campaigns, presentations, digital materials, and other communications.
- Write, edit, and proofread customer-facing communications and promotional materials, adapting EBSCO messaging and content for specific customer audiences and needs.
- Manage marketing projects from request through completion, including gathering requirements, coordinating internal resources, maintaining timelines, communicating status, and ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate ad hoc marketing requests from large and strategic customers, working across Marketing to identify the appropriate resources and solutions.
- Help coordinate market and customer newsletters, including gathering content, managing schedules, reviewing materials, and supporting distribution.
- Support management of the Large Customer Marketing budget, including tracking expenses, coordinating invoices, and maintaining accurate budget information.
- Help track and report on program activity, customer engagement, and marketing results to demonstrate the impact of Large Customer Marketing programs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, templates, resources, and workflows that make it easier to provide consistent and scalable marketing support to strategic customers.
Your Team
You will be part of EBSCO's Marketing organization and will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Events, Digital Marketing, Marketing Operations, and other teams.
Because this role supports some of EBSCO's largest customer relationships, you will also regularly interact directly with customers and their marketing, communications, library, and other stakeholder teams. You will play an important role in connecting customer needs with EBSCO's broader marketing resources and ensuring projects move forward effectively.
About You
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, customer marketing, account management, customer success, project coordination, or a related field.
- Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and can develop clear, polished, and professional customer-facing communications.
- Must be a confident communicator who can build productive relationships with customers and colleagues at different levels of an organization.
- Must have a customer-service mindset and understand the importance of responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-through when supporting important customer relationships.
What sets you apart
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, English, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience taking a customer request or business need, determining the appropriate next steps, and coordinating the people and resources needed to move the work forward.
- Experience supporting large, strategic, enterprise, or high-value customer accounts.
- Experience in customer marketing, account-based marketing, customer success, or account management.
- Experience coordinating customer-facing campaigns, webinars, events, newsletters, or other marketing programs.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management platforms.
- Experience tracking budgets, project expenses, or program performance.
- An interest in information services, research, libraries, education, SaaS, or other complex B2B products and services.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and an interest in thoughtfully using emerging technologies to improve marketing, writing, research, and project workflows.
Pay Range
USD $58,970.00 - USD $84,240.00 /Yr.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
Our Work Policy: We value the balance of remote focus and in-person connection. For all our roles not designated as onsite, candidates living within a 30-mile radius of one of our hub office locations (Ipswich, MA; Birmingham, AL; Contoocook, NH) are required to be on-site one day designated by their team for collaboration and syncs. If you reside outside of this 30-mile range, the position is considered fully remote.
