Technical Lead (Transformation)
What you'll do:
Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, UK
An opportunity is available for a Technical Lead to work within our Transformation team.
Hours of Work:
7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid meal break each day.
Your main responsibilities would be:
• Deliver against operational targets through problem solving and collaboration with Group Lead and other team members.
• Identify and deliver training in line with employee development plans. Support inductions and complete probationary period assessments.
• Promote and implement the following: Zero Incident Workplace Culture, Manufacturing Process Design, Manufacturing Value Stream Success Factors and Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing Strategy Development and Execution, EBS Tool Integration, Business Systems and Practices, Program Management.

• Monitor and improve operational flow to deliver high levels efficiency along with eliminating waste.
• Timely and accurate processing of information and data.
• Develop pareto analysis of failures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist Group Lead in day to day responsibilities and workload planning.
• Support relationships with other teams and work collaboratively with key stake holders (e.g. Supply Chain, Planning, Quality and Engineering).
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
Skills:
• Experience of programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and machines.
• Experience of mould machines.
• Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Good level of tooling knowledge.
• Use of inspection equipment.
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the technical process in order to overcome operational issues.
• SAP knowledge prefered.
• Good communicator, a team-player, able to motivate others.
• Able to plan, organise and prioritise own and others workload.
• A proven problem-solver who can share learning with others.
