What you'll do:

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Target Operating Model (TOM) is responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Network Planning Target Operating Model across the PMCC organization. This role requires a subject matter leader who is capable of defining and driving their area of expertise independently. The individual is expected to take full ownership of their domain, establish clear direction, and lead without constant supervision.
This role acts as a bridge between strategy, systems, and execution, ensuring consistent and effective application of agreed processes, planning concepts, and decision frameworks across networks. The SME supports transformation initiatives while maintaining strong alignment with daily operational planning realities.

Main Responsibilities:

- Own and lead the Network Planning Target Operating Model, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strict adherence across PMCC networks.
- Define direction and drive adoption of TOM processes, including planning horizons, governance frameworks, role interfaces, and decision rights.
- Act as a central point of accountability to ensure cross-functional alignment across Network Planning, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Transformation teams.
- Partner closely with Network Planners, Senior Network Planning leadership, and project teams to embed TOM principles into daily execution.
- Independently guide and influence stakeholders, ensuring that TOM principles are consistently embedded into daily execution.
- Lead deployment and stabilization efforts, proactively identifying risks and ensuring sustainable implementation across sites and regions.
- Drive transformation initiatives and digital roadmap execution, providing expert direction on Kinaxis-related developments and planning capabilities.
- Leverage Kinaxis insights to challenge behaviors, improve planning discipline, and enforce best-practice usage across the organization.
- Own alignment with IT and functional stakeholders, ensuring integration between SAP/ERP systems, data integrity, and end-to-end process consistency.
- Proactively identify gaps and inefficiencies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across functions to enhance planning performance.
- Establish and govern standards, including documentation, standard work, training frameworks, and governance forums.
- Drive change management efforts, ensuring not only adoption but also accountability and sustainability of new processes and behaviors

This role requires close collaboration with SCM, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, IT, CoE and Transformation teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, network planning, production planning, Continous improvement or a related SCM environment, preferably in a multi-site or regional context

Skills:

  • Proven hands-on experience working with Kinaxis (user, power user, or project deployment experience).
  • Solid knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and their interfaces with planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and network planning concepts.
  • Experience supporting operating model deployment or process standardization initiatives is a strong advantage."
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Green Belt certification is welcome (or equivalent CI experience).
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across functions and levels.
  • Comfortable operating in transformation environments with changing requirements.
  • Proactive, structured, and execution-oriented working style.
