Strategic Finance Manager
Eaton's EPG LAC PD Power Distribution division is currently seeking a Strategic Finance Manager.

Job Summary
The Strategic Business Finance Manager is a highly visible and strategic role responsible for providing financial leadership and driving growth across the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this person will be responsible for supporting the development of commercial finance, analytics/reporting best practices, investment management and strategic planning. This is a transformational role that will work with commercial and operational leaders across different countries in the region to provide proactive, insightful analytics enabling the business to achieve its strategic growth and profitability goals.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide financial analysis, insight, interpretation, and communication to senior management of Business Units recommending & driving actions for improvement with sales, expenses and strategic investments. Define and measure key performance indicators and consolidated reporting to identify trends, opportunities and areas of improvement to drive accountability.
• Partner with the leadership team and functional directors to drive change and deliver results to meet strategic objectives and annual business goals. Be a business partner for Sales/Marketing and Operations leaders to provide insightful analysis/reporting/consolidation in support of sales profitability and investments.
• Provide leadership to management in driving profitability optimization with sales and division investment portfolio. Support business development/strategic investment analysis and projects, due diligence and additional ad hoc projects as it relates to sales profitability and investments.
• Coordinate business level planning and reporting activities including profit and strategic planning, and operating review requirements for Order Entry, Sales (including Price/Mix) and expenses in partnership with Business Units.
• Be strong business partner to the Sales, Marketing, HR and Operations Directors in analyzing ROI and building strong business cases for customer and investment portfolios
• Strong business partner to the finance director and division leaders to mitigate potential financial pitfalls and turn them into opportunities through scenario analysis and forecasting.
• In partnerships with business marketing, establish & maintain adequate commercial reporting by Customer and by Product providing clarity and accuracy of price/mix.
• Highly collaborative and integrated within the division working cross functionally with business and finance teams. Mentor and provide guidance to functional finance team including regional Finance leaders and both regional and divisional analysts.
• Coordinate business level planning and reporting activities including monthly results, rolling forecasts for Order Entry, Sales (including Price/Mix) and expenses in partnership with business units.
• Finance Transformation: Play an active role in supporting the finance team through Finance Transformation activities and through the evolution of commercial finance and business partnership.
Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field. Masters or CPA desired
Years and area of experience required
- Min 8 years varied accounting/finance experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred
Technical knowledge
• Fluent in Spanish and English, Portuguese would be a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office specifically strong Excel and Power Point skills.
• Previous experience in business level planning and reporting activities for a top tier organization, P&L or relevant business unit
• Experience in providing analysis, recommendations, and communication to senior leadership.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and Managerial Accounting.
