Sr. Trade Compliance Analyst (GTM)

Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Sr. Trade Compliance Analyst (GTM).

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you'll do:

Primary Function:

This position is responsible for managing and complying with national and international customs laws and regulations, as well as interacting with Eaton's various Centers of Excellence and the VAT and GTM teams.

Essential Functions:

-Responsible for supporting and properly managing the Global Trade Management (GTM) policies, procedures, and initiatives of the GTM Country Manager and ensuring compliance with government regulatory requirements and procedures.
-It is responsible for submitting reports to customs authorities, such as the Monthly Report of Annex 30, INEGI Reports, Submaquila Reports, etc.
-Ensure that accurate information is entered and maintained in the customs inventory control system.
-Detect, mitigate, and eliminate customs risks to avoid fines and penalties.
-Carry out the monthly download process, determine root causes, mitigate risks, and stay within the KPIs established by the company.
-Maintain control of the Eighth Rules, Prosec, and other tariff deferral programs.
-Maintain the balance of monetary funds in the account for payment of customs duties.
-Assist GTM operational positions with questions, procedures and process implementations
-Close the findings of GTM's bi-monthly customs audits.
-Responsible for the veracity of BOMs in the Annex 24 systems
-Preparation, review, and submission of Annex 30 reports.

-Administration, management, and maintenance of program and certification requirements related to Foreign Trade.

Qualifications:

Preferred education level:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in Logistics, similar

Years and area of experience required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Foreigh Trade, Logistics
  • English: conversational advanced

Technical knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of customs and foreign trade laws, tariff deferral programs, sub-manufacturing processes, supply chain security programs (OAS, CTPAT), VAT certification, IMMEX, annex 24 & 30

Skills:
