Sr Manufacturing Engineer
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible to design, validate and implement manufacturing systems, including process documentation, control and optimization through the life of the product. A Manufacturing Engineer seeks and promotes the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Supports designated production areas to keep operations running
B. Defines and implement safety machine guarding to manufacturing equipment as per Eaton requirements
C. Lead safety machine guarding to manufacturing equipment as per Eaton requirements
D. Designs, validates and implements manufacturing systems (assembly lines) including documentation (PFD, PFMEA, Work Instructions) process controls.
E. Develops quotes for New Products, New Processes and/or improvements, changes, or additions to existing production lines
F. Support Quality System procedures

G. Develop and implement tools as per new or revised requirements
H. Develops and implement new design fixtures for assembly.
I. Make reports, charts and manufacturing documentation.
J. Implements the ECO's procedure in the production documents
K. Seeks and promotes continuous improvement through IDEAS and implementation
L. Is responsible for meeting the required Process Capacity and Capability as well as of establishing the analysis and control methods for implementation at production
M. Participates in safety, and ergonomics assessments, GEMBAS and Audits as required
N. Belong and actively participates in the MESH champions group ensuring compliance with new and existing processes
O. Subject Matter Expert in designed manufacturing processes and LEAN Tools
P. Actively participates in CI Events such as BootCamps, VA/VEs and RIEs, Workshops
Q. Develop, lead, and promote a culture in the organization that supports the expected results in the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental system (MESH).
R. Maintain waste segregation culture.
S. Separate hazardous waste from the normal trash
T. Place waste according to the assigned containers.
U. Maintain your area clean and free of contaminants.
V. Not wasting water or electricity.
W. Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
X. Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment.
Y. Act/Report immediately any chemical discharge case.
Z. Ensure the rights containers for disposition of hazardous waste (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
• 5-year experience in manufacturing area.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Electronics, Mechanics or related.
• AutoCAD and MFG Pro Management (preferred).
• Fluent English Proficiency
• Experience developing and launching New Products
• Experience developing and executing Industrialization Plans
