Sr. Engineer - Supplier Development & Quality
Qualifications:
1.Minimum 10 ~12 years of experience in Supplier Development quality and Manufacturing / or Process Engineering.
2. Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.
What you'll do:
1. SPOC for the assigned ESA business SQPI (Supplier Quality Performance Improvement) supplier activities (External + Internal).
2. Drive the Supplier Quality improvement activities at supplier manufacturing process to improve the supplier
performance
3. Train suppliers in the deployment of quality systems tools and techniques such as 8D problem solving, Process
Capability Study, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP.
4. Facilitate common understanding between team and stake holders for requirements and ensure on time and accurate
task completion
5. Drive supplier Training program to meet supplier performance expectation per Eaton Supplier Excellence Manual
(SEM).
6. Apply strategic thought process for expansion of the process to all plants and ensure the onboarding through transition
process.
7. Lead the deployment of consistent supplier quality related policies, processes, and procedures
8. Monitor and communicate supplier performance to all key stake holders timely

9. Prepare Management Review Reports and publish timely.
10. Demonstrate & implement Continuous Improvement culture internally & at supplier end.
11. Trouble shoot flawless problem closures in coordination with global stake holders.
12. Lead in publishing & communicating progress against GSCCoE goals and facilitate improvements.
13. Work as liaison between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify
requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.
14. Understand customer requirement and quick turnaround time on ad-hoc requests.
15. Coordinates and assists with corporate initiatives, participating on teams in order to drive best practices across Eaton
sites
16. Assist in Supplier quality data analysis and business growth PP planning. Driving BPI / process enhancements.
17. Lead various improvement projects and act as SPOC for Group, customers & Suppliers
18. Conducting process audits virtually for suppliers where there is gap in QMS adherence
19. Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency and
morale.
20. Candidate should handle his domain in Agile way.
21. Provides Lean and Six Sigma support across the function to drive short-term and long term business improvements.
22. Utilizes CI tools to eliminate all types of wastes, driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved performance.
23. Leads initiatives including training, mentoring, support & SPOC for Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, BPI, VSM, benchmarking, Productivity.
24. Monitor high impact CI projects in the function and track the progress to ensure completion of the same.
25. Guide and work with Team to build CI projects in function and seek represention in an Internal CI competition
26. Coordination with External bodies for upcoming events wherein Team members can participate & showcase good Projects done, gain outside in perspective
