What you'll do:

"We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) Black Belt to work as part of core team for global DfSS deployment across enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in DfSS methodologies deployment as part of Product Life Cycle Management. DfSS (Design for Six Sigma) is the application of Six Sigma methods and techniques for product design, aimed at making a product more robust to variation.

The primary responsibilities include developing standardized governance frameworks, best-in-class tools, and continuously improving global training content and delivery methods in close collaboration with the Chief Engineer. As a subject matter expert, the role demands strong technical leadership in areas such as Statistics, Design of Experiments (DoE), and Design Optimization. Experience in New Product and Technology Introduction for broad range of market and customer segments is an added advantage. Ability to conduct foundational training and address first-level technical queries is preferred."

"Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) is looking for Technical Specialist for Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) domain as part of Office of Chief Engineer in Enterprise Engineering team. This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune.

• Training: Develop and continuously improve training materials and approaches to drive consistency in DfSS certifications globally. He/She will be responsible to leverage AI in impovising DfSS process, tools & method. Provide certification training to Black Belts in different regions with standard training material
• Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate technical expertise in niche skills like Statistics, Design of Experiments, Design optimization and be a go to person across enterprise
• Program Support: Being a technical expert, offer critical support for key projects, including solving elusive problems and complex DfSS applications based on leadership demand. Resolve key issues and provide problem-solving expertise in urgent situations across globe.
• Expert Guidance: Provide DfSS expertise and guidance to engineering leadership across Eaton businesses and to the engineering communities. Drive DfSS community collaboration and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Knowledge Management: Own and lead the DfSS body of knowledge, including case studies of successful & novel DfSS applications on Eaton projects and links to external resources. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions across enterprise to share best practices & periodically update training material based on best case studies
