Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sourcing Manager.

What you'll do:

Job Summary

"Sourcing Projects Manager is responsible to lead the cross-functional team to successfully develop, sell & execute the projects aligned to the purchasing strategy. The PM is co-responsible to build & support a solid pipeline of projects and coach the organization on best project management practices.
This position is responsible for management of medium complexity projects for Eaton RWDD Programs that will include the use of the ProLaunch process and/or Eaton Standard Sourcing Process (ESSP) as required. The SPM manages the project planning, execution, requirements changes, risk mitigation, and issue tracking.
This position is also responsible to support Sourcing/Procurement activities on NPI and VAVE projects."

Job Responsibilities

"Lead Sourcing initiatives driving results measured by lower material costs, responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements, and resultant productivity throughout the supply chain.
Lead, facilitate and execute Sourcing cost reduction projects.
Lead, facilitate and execute Supply Chain activities related to NPI and VAVE projects.
Participates from idea generation to project execution activities.
Develops & support the Sourcing Team to create solid business cases and sells the project and benefits to the Business.
Accountability for project scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
Provides management and support for team members.
Leads all the actions necessary to carry out the project until closed.
Performs schedule, quality, cost and critical activities tracking against the plan.
Manages within the established performance, schedule and budget constraints.
Identifies issues and risks, coordinate and track action plans.
Prepares stage gates decisions and report progress to the stakeholders.
Leads discussions with team and proper parties when discrepancies.
Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
Financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation request for the assigned programs.
Works in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, Suppliers, etc.) and facilitates the ProLaunch/ESSP processes.
Establishes objectives, goals, and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
Completes other duties as assigned. "

Qualifications:

"Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Preferred Qualifications: A Master in Business Administration, Finance or Productivity"
"Basic Qualifications: A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in related roles and leadership of project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Risk Management.
• A minimum of 5 years of program leadership skills with the ability to manage both horizontally and vertically within a complex matrix organization
"• Fully demonstrating and proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
• Negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP)"
