Solution Architect - Datacenters- South
What you'll do:
The main responsibility of the Solution Architect is to design and support implementation of data center infrastructure solutions for Eaton's MTDC customers & map Eaton offerings to customer requirements
"• Support Strategic Accounts in India, aiding technical design and positioning Eaton related products in a preferred position
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical and engineering support for the in-house engineering staff and design teams at the MTDCs
• Serve as a technical expert within the Strategic Accounts Team, offering comprehensive support to Sales engineers and account managers for Eaton's full portfolio, including UPS, LVA, MVA, STS, RPP, Cooling, Power monitoring & Control products including DCIM software, and White space solutions
• Aid the Strategic Accounts Team on large bids including submittals drawings, technical interpretation, and interfacing with the consultant and owner
• Arrive at the costing and financial estimation of the proposed solution, and work with the Strategic Accounts team to submit the winning bid while honoring the gross margin expectations of the company.
• Facilitate technical collaboration between Multi-Tenant Data Centers and Eaton's product lines, supporting product innovation and providing design recommendations based on customer needs
• Conduct product seminars and training on Eaton products and solutions at targeted consultant firms or MTDCs
• Provide mentoring and training to Strategic Account Sales Engineers, Facility Account Managers, Major Account Managers, and other employees within and outside of the NAS organization
• Work closely with the field team to arrive at the Root Cause Analysis for problems faced post deployment and work with the product team to have permanent fix for the same."
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Engineering with 15+ years experience
"• 10+ years of experience in Datacenter infrastructure engineering or data center operations at an MTDC, with at least 3 years in a design role
Skills:
• Proven track record in managing global data center or colocation deployments at scale. "
"Ability to interface with electrical consultant principals and lead electrical engineers, as well as facility engineers at data centers
• Proven capability to find creative solutions to solve complex technical application problems "
"• Problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization, including consultant or end user organizations
• Presentation and training skills - Initiative and self-management skills
• Value selling experience."
