Core hours for this role are 5:00am-3:30pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $32 per hour.

Position Overview:
The shipping and receiving Level II is to be trained, capable and in regular practice of all essential daily duties and responsibilities of the shipping and receiving supervisor. The individual in this role must be capable of duties and possess strong leadership, communication and organization skills. This individual may be responsible for training others and enforcing compliance to requirements of safety, quality and productivity standards. Will work closely with the Shipping and Receiving Supervisors implement identified strategy and work standardization.
In this role you will:
This position is responsible for providing general administrative support as needed, including but not limited to:
• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey materials to proper departments or areas.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods, such as receiving, shipping, inventory, cycle counts.
• Support the shipment of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
• Support the receipts and put-away of materials
• Responsible for arranging trucks for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's Shipping Instructions.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping and receiving supplies on hand at all times.
• Support inventory and cycle counts.
• Investigate Inventory differences for timely resolution.
• Support to maintaining Bin Locations organized for safe and productive material handling.
• Additional projects or tasks assigned by supervisor as needed.
• At all times, follow and enforce safety protocol, including use of PPE (personal protection equipment) and maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Capable to perform all duties and responsibilities required by Shipping and Receiving 1, as well as to Train new employees and revise practices and/or periodic re-certification of existing employees
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years warehouse experience
• Ability to drive standup forklift
Skills:

• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Must work well in team environment
• Must be able to secure and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established productivity and accuracy standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
