What you'll do:

The service engineer is responsible to provide timely and proper technical service support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance and training of capacitor banks

1.On-site installations & maintenance
a. Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of capacitor bank, ensuring all work is carried out based on quality and safety standard;
b. Diagnose and resolve technical issues with supporting team on -site or remotely, provide effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency;
c. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability and performance;

2. Technical support & troubleshooting
a. Provide on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues and offering experts advice on optimal performance;
b. Work closely with engineering and supporting team to resolve technical issues and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs;
c. Offer guidance and training to customers on the proper operation and maintenance of capacitor banks;
d. Support product FAT

3. Customer relationship management
a. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, ensuring high level of customers satisfaction;
b. Regularly update customers on service progress, maintaining clear and open communication at all stages of the process;

4.Reporting & Documentation
a. Complete detailed service reports, including service activities, findings, and recommendations, to ensure accurate documentation and communication with internal teams and customers;
b. Assist in preparing reports on installation and maintenance activities for management, helping track service performance and customer satisfaction;
c. Ensure all service activities comply with safety and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of safety awareness on-site;

5. Continuous improvement
a. Stay up to date on industry trend, technologies advancements, and company' products to continuously improve service quality and knowledge
b. Provide feedback to the engineering and supporting teams to enhance product design and service process"

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or above, major in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a technical service role within power industry.
  • Basic electrical knowledge, including capacitor, discharge coil, reactance, etc.
  • Good English communication skills, both oral and written. Strong communication, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
