Service Department Supervisor
Eaton's Electrical division is currently seeking a Service Department Supervisor to join our team in Woodridge, IL. The shift for this position will be 5:30am - 2:00pm with an occasional Saturday on a rotating schedule.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year.

The Service Department Supervisor will be responsible for providing vision, direction, and daily management of the Service Department, encompassing the reverse logistics, recharge, kitting, and workorder processes. Also ensuring that all transactions and physical moves are done within established financial guidelines and meet state and federal laws as well as customer and company requirements
What you'll do:
- Supervise the Service Department, owning department metrics, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and training for the team.
- Optimizes accuracy and timeliness of RMA receipts and the routing of returned product
- Optimizes the efficiency of the recharge process, taking care to ensure good record keeping
- Optimizes and prioritizes kitting and work order completion while maintaining Eaton quality standards
- Develops and uses warehouse management system (WMS) tools to manage daily Service Department activities. Leverages WMS ability to guide movement of product in each step.
- Engages direct reports in continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to operator standard work, 5S+, pull systems, value stream mapping, empowered work teams and structured problem solving.
- Lead the Service Department to ensure all receipts are completed on a timely basis.
- Schedule work orders and recharge in collaboration with the Supply Chain team and sales-operations.
- Establish processes to improve the material movement, and accuracy of processing.
- Be responsible for meeting operational performance objectives in areas such as: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Eaton Business Systems.
- Drive cost out, flexibility and agility in the organization.
- Apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies that facilitate the upgrade of technical expertise and technology
- Seek out and build cross functional working relationships with other key stakeholder groups such as quality, supplier development, supply chain management, product engineering, new product introduction teams, customer service teams and product line managers.

This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in warehouse functions
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in direct leadership
You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- WMS experience
- SAP experience
- Electrical work experience inclusive of reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Critical-Thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Bilingual - Spanish/English
