Senior Validation Engineer

The Senior Validation Engineer oversees the qualification of new products and participates in sustaining activities around the existing products.

What you'll do:

Qualification

• Prepare and plan validation activities, including test strategies, schedules, and test setups.
• Execute and supervise product qualification tests in collaboration with Eaton R&D teams and internal/external laboratories.
• Read and analyze electrical and electronic schematics, and perform measurements using oscilloscopes, power meters, and other test equipment.
• Contribute to NPI projects by participating in technical meetings, providing safety and reliability guidance, and delivering structured feedback on EP, FP, and IP test results.
• Produce rigorous qualification reports and documentation, and support certification processes with external laboratories.

• Participate in continuous improvement actions on existing products.
• Support the Quality department with technical expertise during the RMA process.
• Ensure product sustainability after ProLaunch Gate 6.

• Deploy and maintain a high level of safety in laboratory environments.
• Proactively contribute to laboratory equipment, process, and tool maintenance and upgrades.
• Act in line with Eaton's Code of Ethics, Aspirational Goals, and Policies to ensure employee safety, health, and well-being, and actively support environmental stewardship.

• Degree in electronics, electrical or equivalent;
• 2-5 years of experience.

• Strong accountability, autonomy, proactivity, and ability to deliver results with efficiency and resilience.
• Solid analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and continuous learning mindset.
• Clear, transparent, ethical communication with strong time management capabilities.
• Proven experience in product validation within an electrical lab environment, ideally on breakers and power distribution units, with knowledge of international standards.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); French proficiency is a strong asset.
