Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Finland - Vantaa | 💼 Full-time | hybrid role

What you'll do:
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer acts as a mechanical specialist for large UPS systems and Special Systems customers across the EMEA region, supporting pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, customized UPS design, and customer-facing engineering guidance.
Key responsibilities:
- Support internal sales organizations with technical and commercial UPS requests by
- analyzing customer requirements
- making feasibility studies, cost analysis and supporting material
- designing customized UPS solutions together with several stake holders (R&D, Product Marketing, Production, Sales, Suppliers etc.)
- Act as a mechanical expert in customer visits, witness tests and demonstrations.
- Execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines on time.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Solid mechanical design experience in relevant industry
Skills:
- Technical knowledge on mechanical design in electrical systems and solutions
- Experience on UPS/frequency converter technologies and assemblies is an advantage
- Knowledge of Creo design tools and environment or similar
- Understanding of product compliancy regulations
- Fluency in English and basics in Finnish
- Strong work ethic, Communication and interpersonal skills, Positive attitude, Problem-Solving Skills, Teamwork, Resilience
