Senior Materials Analyst (Buyer)
Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Senior Materials Analyst (Buyer).
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The SCM analyst is responsible to support supply chain improvement initiatives e.g., Inventory accuracy improvement, planning and scheduling improvement, SCM digitalization and inventory optimization. This role will prepare datasets to identify opportunities and then will work with site SCM team to implement changes around material flow, stocking strategies, planning, and scheduling. This role will extensively work with site planners, buyers, and supply chain managers to drive the actions required to improve the SCM function. This role will report to Protection, Controls and Solutions (PCS) Materials Management Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Work with PCS focus sites on inventory accuracy improvement strategy. Support actions coming through inventory accuracy BPI events at sites and drive cycle of improvements based on maturity.
• Work with PCS focus sites on planning and scheduling improvement and develop tools to improve planning/scheduling area.
• Support the SCM digitalization strategy with support of SCM COE resources.
• Support the optimization of inventory days on hand (DOH) across all PCS locations. Work directly with focus sites to understand inventory $$ and/or DOH targets missed. Work with site leader to develop and monitor inventory reduction plans to assist in achieving those goals.
• Build tools to consolidate data from various sites ERPs or Cloudera to identify opportunities around item master data health, MRP, MPSP and stocking strategies.
• Coordinate with SCM COE resources around supply chain improvement initiatives and represent PCS in data gathering and data validation.
• Inventory management - Take ownership of ESA daily inventory update, PCS daily inventory and ESA Water Tank file

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering (ex: Industrial) or similar fields
• Minimum 3 years' experience. At least 2 years of supply chain and/or manufacturing related experience.
• Language skills: Bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish)
• Computer knowledge: Microsoft office - advanced Excel skills. Prefer: PowerBI, MAPICS, AS400, Vista, Mentor experience & VBA and SQL programming experience
• CPIM or CSCP Certification (APICS)
