Senior Manager Product Owner
Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Manager Product Owner. The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Job Summary
The Product Line Owner plays a crucial role in overseeing multiple products, either directly or through the management of other product owners. This individual is responsible for setting and championing the product vision, collaborating with key senior leaders to influence strategic business objectives, developing and maintaining the product roadmap, and defining essential operational processes, including the product release schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with business partners and customers to define epics that align with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team.
- Communicating strategy and status effectively at the C level.
- Tracking and managing product funding while defining work priorities for the product team.
- Balancing new features with continuous improvement, system health, and support.
The Product Line Owner collaborates with multiple product teams, including analysts, engineers, and other members, to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define user stories, and represent the voice of the customer across relevant portfolios and business units.
What you'll do:
Job Responsibilities
- Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, working with senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet customer and business needs
- Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work
- Plan, manage, and track product funding. Is fully responsible for product budget and profit plan
- Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers, understanding their priorities and defining business outcomes and KPIs for the product in collaboration with those key stakeholders
- Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints.
- Support the onboarding of internal and external resources
- Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage
- Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units
- Drive definition and continuous improvement of product processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps, etc.)
- Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable
- Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
- Manage contracts with software and service vendors to support the product stratgegy. Manage vendor strategy and relationship."
Qualifications:
Basic Qualificaitons:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an analyst, BRM, project manager, engineer or program lead on highly complex technology projects and programs.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH: Galesburg MI,, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- This position requires access to export-controlled information. Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes
- Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.

- Strong knowledge of and experience working with design thinking methodologies
