Senior Industrial Sales Representative

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Sales Representative.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

  • Drive profitable business growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities in industrial and electrical projects. This role combines technical expertise and commercial strategy to generate demand, develop value-based solutions, influence specifications, and manage the complete sales cycle while acting as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Manage the relationship with customers by identifying needs and providing technical sales support to ensure business growth.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies in conjunction with the vertical market leader for price control of new and ongoing projects including the territory plan and chart of accounts.
  • Review new business opportunities monthly together with Marketing and Account Executives for alignment and execution.
  • Always follow Eaton's corporate policies related to the performance of their role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, construction, energy, and utility sectors.
2. Analyze electrical specifications and technical requirements to define optimal solutions.
3. Develop integrated technical-commercial proposals aligned with customer needs.
4. Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract management.
5. Prepare competitive quotations ensuring technical and financial compliance.
6. Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms.
7. Execute sales strategies through distribution channels and manage key accounts.
8. Develop sales forecasts, territory plans, and account strategies.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
10. Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
11. Ensure post-sales support and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics.
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical/industrial market.
  • Strong technical, commercial, and project sales expertise.
  • Experience on wiring devices industry desirable

Skills:

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience in main electrical distributors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate across various levels.
  • Ability to support team members and provide advice where necessary
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Ability to research, identify and assess market potential to engage in new projects
