Senior Financial Analyst
Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.
What you'll do:
Job Summary
Serve as a business partner to the Plant Manager by providing accurate and timely financial information related to the production load plan, site expenses, cost savings initiatives, special analyses, headcount, and other key metrics. Support the Plant Manager with forecast projections, identify any special situations in a timely manner, and make recommendations based on analytical findings.
Job Responsibilities
1. Assist Plant Finance Manager in preparing and monitoring the Finance / Accounting activities in the areas of:
• Month-end closing process - Financial review, variance analysis, balanced scorecard preparation.
• Month-end forecast process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis.
• Profit Plan process - report preparation, operational / financial review and variance analysis.
• Various financial and non-financial operational performance control measures and analysis.
• Support CAPEX initiatives for the Haina site and support in Fixed Asset control and maintenance of F.A. system plus CAR preparation / review support.
• Evaluate cost reduction projects and assess their impact on the P&L.
• Assist in special projects in support of a Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) culture.
• Other ongoing activity or special projects as necessary.
2. Prepare, understand and interpret financial statements; P&L, Balance Sheet, and other financial measures from internal and external customers of the finance function at local, divisional and corporate levels.
3. Lead systems implementation and upgrades; making recommendations for process improvement.
4. Promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
5. Establish and maintain internal controls and evaluation of plant systems for conformance to division and corporate guidelines, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
6. Assess the development needs of Finance / Accounting personnel and help develop employees through training and motivation.
Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
- English: conversational advanced
Years and area of experience required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar positions.
Technical knowledge
- Audit techniques and general Accountant Principles.
