We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to help consolidate and manage ANZ financials, including month end close, forecasting, budgeting, long term planning, and strategic modelling. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will partner with senior ANZ & APAC stakeholders, and help shape the financial future of an exciting, fast-growing region.

What you'll do:

  • Month-End Close Lead and coordinate the ANZ month-end process, consolidate results for management reporting, prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and CapEx commentary, and identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Own the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasting process for ANZ, prepare analysis for business leadership presentations, provide accurate performance updates, and support long-term planning.
  • Cost & Inventory Management Control and optimise operational costs while maintaining quality and efficiency. Manage annual standard costing, inventory revaluation and analyse cost data to support decisions on pricing, cost efficiency.
  • Reporting & Analysis Deliver accurate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, highlight key trends and performance drivers/KPIs, and areas for improvement with business leaders for decision making and align financial outcomes.
  • Financial Modelling Develop financial models across brands, products and regions, analyse variances to budget, and forecast, assess risks and opportunities.
  • Internal control SOX & Statutory audit: Provide compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and all applicable statutory requirements as they apply to areas of responsibility. Ensure compliance with USGAAP, and local GAAP, statutory and fiscal requirements.
  • Driving Operational Initiatives & Collaborative Planning Lead working capital and productivity improvement initiatives while partnering with operations to develop, execute, and monitor action plans and strategies informed by financial insights
  • Process Improvement & Transformation Streamline finance processes, support ANZ/APAC transformation initiatives, and drive continuous improvements in reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial operations
  • Minimum 3 years of data analytics & financial modelling experience supporting a manufacturing environment, preferably working with offshore financial shared services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of USGAAP & Sarbanes Oxley
  • Bachelor's degree in business / finance or CPA/CA desired
  • Proficiency in Finance ERP systems (Oracle R12 is an added advantage), Oracle Forecast & Budgeting tools and skilled in Excel, PPT, power BI.
  • Excellent people skills and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Enjoy collaborating across international borders and time zones.
  • Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals.
  • Initiative-taking, highly analytical and self-starter
