Job Description- Wire Harness Design Sr. Engineer:
The primary responsibility of this position is to design electrical wire harnesses for electrical panels using the Creo Cabling (3D) tool. The role requires end-to-end involvement in the product development lifecycle, with a focus on wire harness design. Key responsibilities include:
1. Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles with specialized knowledge in wire harness design for both high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
2. Proficient in creating electrical schematics using the Creo Schematic tool.
3. Expertise in load and voltage drop calculations, fault findings and design solutions for failures.
4. Skilled in selecting appropriate wire gauges, connectors, and accessories based on system-level requirements for harness design.
5. Experienced in 3D wire harness design using Creo Parametric.
6. Expertise in bus bar design.
7. Expertise in harness routing, including feasibility analysis and providing critical inputs to cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project-specific and UL routing requirements.
8. Hands-on experience in wire harness flattening and developing formboard/nailboard drawings & harness BOM.
9. Capable of creating, modifying, and analyzing 3D models with high precision.
10. Ability to conceptualize and develop wire harness designs, propose innovative solutions, and adhere to industry best practices.
11. Proficient in generating detailed wire harness drawings and documentation for vendors, ensuring accuracy and readiness for mass production.

12. Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects independently, meeting program schedules and deliverables while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
13. Proactive in gathering necessary information to successfully complete harness design tasks.
14. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
15. Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, particularly Enovia, and its integration with Creo for releasing harness designs.
Skills:
Qualification:
1. BE in Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution.
2. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Creo Schematics, and Creo Cabling tools. Work experience should be 7 to 9 years
3. Strong practical expertise in Creo Cabling, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality harness designs.
4. Proficient in creating 3D assemblies for wire harness development
