Senior Engineer - Power & Control Systems

"The Senior Engineer - Control Systems is responsible for designing, implementing, validating, and sustaining control system solutions for industrial, power, energy, or digital products with Energy Control Systems group products. This role operates as a strong individual contributor, owning complex subsystems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, safe, and scalable control functionality that meets product and customer requirements."

This role leads end-to-end controls design, mentors engineers, and partners with product, hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver safe, scalable, and reliable control solutions aligned with business and customer outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
Preferred: Masters in in electrical or Electronics engineering from an accredited institution."
5-8 years of experience in Power and control systems design and delivery.

Skills:
• Experience utilizing/developing standards and best practices in Power and control engineering.
• Experience with Microgrid, Utilities, EV domains.
• Good expeirence in Power system and power electronics modeling and controlling tools and languages (Typhoon/RTDS/OPAL-RT/Python/ MATLAB & Simulink/ C/C++/ script, etc. any one) must.
• Control theory fundamentals
• Real-time system behavior
• Diagnostics and fault handling
Preferred Skills
• Functional safety exposure (SIL, IEC, UL standards).
• Experience with digital, IIoT, or edge-to-cloud control integrations.
• Knowledge of power electronics, drives, microgrids, EV, or energy management systems.
• Agile/Scrum development exposure.

Requires limited supervision for day-to-day technical execution.
Demonstrates strong engineering judgment and discipline.
Collaborates effectively across teams and locations.
