Senior Engineer -Low Voltage Product design

What you'll do:

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer to design and develop low voltage products-MCB, RCCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors and LV Panel. This role involves technical coordination for technology transfer and localization adaptation.

• CAD Proficiency: Mastery of software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Product design and developments- LV switchgear products MCB, RCCB, ACB, contactors and LV Panel.
• Engineering Principles: Strong foundation in mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and material science to ensure structural integrity.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Assembly (DfA) to optimize cost, production, and quality.
• Prototypong & Testing: Ability to create rapid prototypes (3D printing) and perform FEA/CFD simulations to validate design performance. Manage the product verification and product certification with external test lab.
• Technical Documentation: Experience in creating detailed blueprints, specifications, and tolerance analysis
• Problem-solving & Innovation: Critical thinking to develop creative solutions for complex design challenges.
• Project Management: Time management, budgeting, and planning skills to move projects from concept to production on schedule.

Qualifications:

• B.E/ M.E./MTech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with low voltage products-MCB, RCCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors and LV Panel.

Skills:

• Working knowledge of product design, prototype, verification &validation and Certification.
• Concept Development- Idea-to-prototype conversion, cross-team collaboration.
• Design & Engineering- CAD modeling, compliance with standards, quality tools.
• Prototyping & Testing- Prototype building, experimental verification and validation
• Continuous Improvement- Process refinement, VAVE.
• Collaboration & Communication- Customers, Stakeholder, supplier and test labs coordination

Preferred Experience: - Product design and development experience of low voltage switchgear-MCB, RCCB, RCBO, MCCB, ACB, Contactor, LV panels.
