Senior Engineer - Data Management

What you'll do:

"The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for delivering product data to customers through relevant stakeholders. In this role, the Data Steward operates under the guidance of the Assistant Manager - Data Management, based in Pondicherry.

The Senior Data Engineer ensures the accuracy and consistency of Eaton's product master data, thereby supporting the implementation of the balanced scorecard across the divisions of Eaton's Electrical Sector EMEA.

"Execute data extraction, validation, and transformation activities from STIBO in alignment with defined PIM processes and governance standards.
Manage and maintain Product Hierarchies (PH) across multiple systems, including creation, cleansing, restructuring, and updates for global and regional datasets.
Ensure uninterrupted data syndication across platforms, particularly during system upgrades or transitions.
Maintain high-quality product data by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all syndicated outputs.
Support rollout and adoption of next-generation MDM tools such as STIBO in alignment with the global transformation roadmap.
Drive continuous improvements in syndication workflows by enhancing automation and process efficiency.
Develop and deliver standardized operational support while ensuring timely delivery of structured data files for downstream processing and system integration.
Perform global data cleansing and harmonization to align product master data across systems and regions.
Implement and maintain data monitoring dashboards and KPIs using Power BI for proactive issue management and performance tracking.
Generate and maintain performance tracking reports and scorecards, including Monthly Ecommerce Scorecards and EHSM metrics.
Collaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Provide operational and analytical support through on-demand analysis and issue resolution related to PIM data processes.
Support system enhancements and transformation initiatives, including export profile creation and collection setup in STIBO.

Qualifications:

BE/B.Tech Electrical /Mechanical or Any relavant Engg. Or Any Basic Degree
3 - 5 years - Proven and solid experience working in the following ERP system - SAP and PIM System
