What you'll do:
Should be able to identify required changes in the firmware and complete UPS & board level test to address issues from the field, customization and new product development.
- Design and develop hardware circuits for UPS systems, including power conversion, control, and protection circuits.
- Develop and optimize embedded firmware for microcontrollers and DSPs used in UPS applications.
- Perform schematic design, PCB layout review, and component selection.
- Conduct system-level testing, debugging, and validation of hardware and firmware.
- Ensure compliance with safety, EMI/EMC standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and testing teams for integrated product development.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and support production teams during NPI (New Product Introduction).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Min.4-6 years of experience in hardware and firmware development for power electronics or UPS systems.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of:
- Analog & digital circuit design
- Microcontrollers/DSP programming (C/C++, RTOS)
- Communication protocols (UART, CAN, Modbus)
- Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD) and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB).
- Familiarity with compliance standards (IEC, UL).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach.
