Senior Compliance Engineer
What you'll do:
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. This position is part of Product engineering team developing Low Voltage and Power Conversion (LVPC) solutions for on- and off-road automotive and industrial applications. As a member of the engineering team, you will lead electronics Compliance of 48V eHeater, DC-DC, 24V-12V Converters, Auxiliary Inverters and Embedded Power Products. Incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams like Product Engg., Manufacturing. Support and SCM accross the globe to ensure that power electronics products meet all applicable regulatory, safety, and certification requirements. The role involves coordinating product testing, interpreting global standards, working with certification bodies, and supporting product development teams to achieve compliance efficiently."

• The individual will be responsible for product compliance in accordance to international standards such as IEC, UL, CE, BIS, FCC, and other regional requirements.
. Prepare and manage documentation for product certifications and approvals.
. Liaise with certification bodies and test laboratories (UL, TUV, Intertek, etc.) for product approvals.
Interpret standards related to:
. Safety (IEC 62368, IEC 61010, UL standards)
. EMC/EMI (EN 55032, CISPR, IEC 61000 series)
. Environmental (RoHS, REACH)
Qualifications:
B-Tech/BE / ME/Mtech
B-Tech/BE with 7+ yrs./ Mtech with 3+yrs.

Bachelors / Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics with industry experience of B-Tech/BE with 7+ yrs./ Mtech with 3+yrs and proven track record in engineering research / analysis / product design 48V eHeater, DC-DC, 24V-12V Converters, Auxiliary Inverters and Embedded Power Products.
• 5 years minimum experience in Power electronics, Mechanical and Electrical product domain.

Skills:
• Strong experience with testing and certifying high power products, Similar to but not limited to, like AC to DC, DC-DC converters, power supplies to UL, CSA, IEC, EN standards including: 62368-1, 60950-1, 60601-1, 61010-1 etc.
• Experience with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Data Acceptance Program
• Maintain a working relationship with NRTL labs (in particular UL & CSA) and a working understanding of their processes and procedures for opening projects, performing investigations, reporting, and inspections.
• Position will be required interaction with customers, regulatory agencies and all internal departments/functions/levels.
• Lead global product certification efforts including UL, CSA, BIS, NOM, CQC, CCC, BSMI, KC, CE, UKCA etc.
• Sound experience with design and validation practices with above and/or similar products
• Experience across product design & development, product manufacturing, engineering support, team leadership is preferred.
• Desired experience on project definition, coordination, and leadership: Work scope/task definition, liaise with internal and external partnering teams.
• Prepare documentation for certifications, and regulatory submissions
• Leads efforts to secure and maintain product approvals, certifications, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to international standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate with plant team during internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings & variation notice
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on products/services
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on compliance best practices
• Interpret safety standard requirements and integrate them into product design
• Comprehensive understanding of EMI/EMC standards such as CISPR 32, CISPR 35, and IEC/EN 61000 series, including the ability to interpret requirements to meet the certification activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and tools
• Understanding of tools like SAP or Enovia is a plus
• Proficient use of computers including the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to consistently achieve a high standard of quality and accuracy with extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in high energy environment.
• Acts as single point of contact for all certification & agency related issues
