Senior Commercial Controller
What you'll do:
Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Regional CFO and leading a dedicated team, the Senior Commercial Controller represents a key leadership role within the Mobility EMEA Finance organization.
In this position, you will act as a strategic finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Aftermarket functions, driving performance and supporting decision-making across the business. Your scope will include ownership of topline performance, pricing strategy, product profitability, new business quotations, and the financial oversight of new product launches.
Job Responsibilities
People Leadership
• Foster a high-performing and engaging team environment, coaching and supporting team members while building a strong succession pipeline to enable continuous talent development.
Business Partnering
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support the Sales organization in the deployment and evaluation of pricing strategies.
• Actively support business development initiatives, including due diligence activities and ad hoc strategic projects.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable performance and collaborate closely with the dedicated collections team to ensure effective cash management.
Growth & Value Creation
• Lead, review, and support the financial preparation and approval of customer quotations, ensuring alignment with profitability targets.
• Drive the Capex approval process for growth initiatives, contributing to disciplined investment decisions.
Reporting & Performance Management
• Maintain and continuously enhance commercial controlling reporting (volumes, profitability, pricing, and product mix).
• Oversee sales, margin, and pricing performance across key financial cycles, including monthly closing, forecasting, profit planning, and strategic planning processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Skills:
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance Controlling, preferably within large multinational manufacturing organizations operating in complex matrix environments.
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
