Senior Automation Test Engineer

What you'll do:

"At Eaton India Innovation Center, Center for Software Platforms and Products is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team!
This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Test Automation Engineer with over 6+ years of relevant experience to contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our existing test automation framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust automated test scripts, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with device testing and performance testing is a strong plus."

"• Framework Enhancement & Maintenance:
Continuously improve and support the existing test automation framework to align with evolving project requirements.
• Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Requirement Analysis:
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with functional testers, developers, and product managers to understand system requirements and translate manual test cases into automated scripts.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues within the automation codebase.
• CI/CD Integration:
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo and GitActions, and monitor execution results.
• Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results and automation processes to support debugging and future enhancements."

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required.
"Proven 6+ total software industry experience, with focus towards iot based applications.

Skills:

• Strong SW Testing expertise and proven track record of Test Automation"

• Familiarity with various devices and communication protocols
• Experience in Power, Energy, or IoT domains.
